Hey friend,
After Tuesday's email, my DMs had the same question on repeat:
"Okay but which one should I buy?" 😅
Wrong first question. Before you pick an ETF, pick the job you need your money to do. Every ticker on my list does one of three:
📈 GROW
For money you won't touch for 10+ years. It will swing. Some years it'll make you nervous. That's the price of growth.
This week's picks: SMH (chip makers behind AI) and XAR (aerospace + defense).
🛡️ STEADY
For when the market gets loud and you want to sleep at night. Smaller swings, smaller drama.
This week's picks: SPLV (the 100 calmest S&P 500 stocks) and XLP (stuff people buy no matter what: toothpaste, groceries, toilet paper).
💸 LAST
For money that pays you just for holding it. Dividends land in your account, and you can reinvest them or spend them.
This week's picks: SCHD (100 dividend payers, $0.60 a year per $1,000) and DVY (dividend payers since 2003).
So which job comes first?
Here's the order I follow. It's the BE RICH order:
1. Security first. An emergency fund in a high-yield savings account. Not an ETF. Cash you can grab.
2. Then growth. Index funds and ETFs, a little every payday, on autopilot.
3. Then the extras. Single stocks, REITs, the fun stuff. Small slice only.
If you skipped step one, that's your homework this week. Not a ticker.

Before you invest a dollar, find out where the last one went. (No judgment. Okay, a little.)

Reply and tell me: which job does your money need most right now, grow, steady or last? I read every reply.
Go grow your bag. Bye! 💚
